Masters Bursaries: Multilevel Governance and Food Security

The Dullah Omar Institute is inviting further applications to study towards a Masters Degree in Multilevel Government with a specific focus on Food Security.

This opportunity exists in addition to the bursaries that were advertised by the South African Research Chair in Multilevel Government ('SARCHI' bursaries). Applications for those bursaries are closed but this is an additional opportunity that has opened up with support of the Centre of Excellence in Food Security.

The following applies:

1. To become familiar with the Masters Programme and entry requirements, consult this page: all the requirements mentioned there apply.

2. If you are successful with this bursary, you will follow the same programme and be subject to the same requirements as the SARCHI bursary holders.

3. However, you must do your research paper ('end project') on a topic that combines multilevel government and food security.

4. If you applied for a SARCHI bursary, there is no need to apply again. Your application will automatically be considered.

If you have not applied for a SARCHI bursary, you may submit your application to Jaap de Visser (jdevisser@uwc.ac.za) before Friday 17 November.
