Workshop unpacks LLM/MPhil in Law, State and Multilevel Government

On 31 May, the Dullah Omar Institute conducted a research and induction Workshop where the Institute’s LLM/MPhil students in Law, State and Multilevel Government were taken through the requirements and expectations surrounding constitutional practice, which comes in the form of an internship.

The internship, which will last about ten weeks, provides the students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience on multilevel government issues, particularly in South Africa.  The students were also taught how to write a research proposal, as they began the research journey.

This will culminate in the production of research papers on emerging and burning issues on multilevel government on the African Continent such as minority and coalitions governments and the implementation of modern African constitutions.
