Dr Andżelika Mirska – joins Dullah Omar Institute on research stay

Dr Andżelika Mirska – a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw, Poland, Department of State Sciences and Public Administration, joins the Multilevel Government, Law and Development Unit at the Dullah Omar Institute on a one-month secondment stay.

Her research stay is funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 - Marie Skodowska-Curie Actions Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) initiative as part of the research program “Local Government and the Changing Urban-Rural Interplay” (LoGov project).

Dr Mirska holds a Ph.D. in Humanities within the scope of Political Sciences obtained from the University of Warsaw. Her research interests include comparative research in the field of public administration, local government, local democracy and participation, metropolisation in Poland and worldwide, political and administrative systems in German-speaking countries (primarily Austria, Germany, Switzerland).

Dr. Andżelika Mirska expressed the following regarding her secondment:
