On 30 July 2024 the SARChl Chair in Multilevel Government, Law and Development at the Dullah Omar Institute, in collaboration with the Catholic Parliamentary Liaison Office and the Hanns Seidel Foundation hosted a webinar on 'Revisiting coalitions: Impact of the GNU on governance, intergovernmental relations and local government'. The panelists included Prof Jaap de Visser (National Research Chair in Multilevel Government, Law & Development, Dullah Omar Institute, UWC), Prof Joleen Steyn Kotze (Chief Research Specialist, Human Sciences Research Council), Mr Lukhona Mnguni (Acting Executive Director, Rivonia Circle), Dr Nonhlanhla Ngcobo (Lecturer, Faculty of Law, North-West University) and Dr Conrad Bosire (Independent Consultant & former Chief of Staff in the Kenya Judiciary). The webinar was moderated by Adv Mike Pothier (Catholic Parliamentary Liaison Office).
