Kenya resorting to constitutional reform - belief that a democratic and properly designed constitution would address the factors that occasioned instability and violence. Constitutional negotiations led to wide range of institutional & policy changes. Institutional fineness - not lived in experience of constitutionalism and rule of law. About Dr Solomon Ayele Dersso
Dr Solomon Ayele Dersso is a senior researcher at the Institute for Security Studies. Formerly a research fellow at the South African Institute for Advanced Constitutional, Public, International and Human Rights Law (SAIFAC), Dr Dersso completed his PhD degree from the School of Law University of Witwatersrand in 2009. One of the major areas of his research interest is constitutional design and institutional and policy mechanisms for accommodation of ethno-cultural diversity in Africa.
