Children Used by Adults to Commit Crime: Situation Analysis and Pilot DesignThis study records the results of a situation analysis and baseline study to explore the use of children by adults and older children in the commission of crimes, which has been identified as a worst form of child labour. It builds on South Africa’s commitment to address child labour, as evidenced in the constitutional protection accorded to this group of children, as well as early ratification by the South African government of ILO Convention 182 concerning the elimination of the worst forms of child labour. The implementation of ILO Convention 182 is marked by the need for the design and implementation of targeted measures to address the situation of children involved in the worst forms of child labour. This study constitutes the first step in the process of achieving that goal.https://admin.dullahomarinstitute.org.za/childrens-rights/archives/Research/CUBAC/CUBAC%20Publications/Children%20Used%20by%20Adults%20to%20Commit%20Crime%20-%20Situation%20Analysis%20and%20Pilot%20Design.pdf/viewhttps://admin.dullahomarinstitute.org.za/childrens-rights/archives/Research/CUBAC/CUBAC%20Publications/Children%20Used%20by%20Adults%20to%20Commit%20Crime%20-%20Situation%20Analysis%20and%20Pilot%20Design.pdf/@@download/image/leadimage.jpeg
