The Dullah Omar Institute bids farewell to officials from Chilambana Local Government Training Institute, Zambia

On 29 November the Dullah Omar Institute (DOI) bade farewell to six officials from Chilambana Local Government Training Institute, Ministry of Local Government in Zambia.

The officials, who are lecturers at the Local Government Training Institute are Frank Kunda, Lutangu Maina, Chilumbwa Maambo, Tembo Mukapa, Nchimunya Mweene and Vivien Mithi. These officials were enrolled in the Masters programme in Multilevel Government offered by the DOI in the 2017 academic year.

They lauded the Masters programme for its relevance and comprehensiveness on issues to do with decentralisation and federalism and multilevel government, at large. Their enrollment for the Masters programme forms part of a broader capacity building programme for local government in Zambia which is being funded by the German Development Bank, through Kehl University.
