Dr Meseret Kifle Ande

Meseret Kifle received her degree in law from Jimma University in Ethiopia in 2009, she worked as an intern in the Justice Office Administration, Lideta Sub City, City Government of Addis Ababa. Following that she received a master’s degree in public international law from the University of the Western Cape in 2013. Currently she is a PhD candidate at the University of the Western Cape, Dullah Omar Institute, under the Children’s Rights Project. Her PhD thesis focuses on the right to alternative care of children with disabilities in three jurisdictions in Africa.
