Nimrod Muhumuza

Doctoral Researcher

Nimrod Muhumuza is a doctoral researcher with the Children's Rights Project. He holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, an LL.B. from Makerere University, and an LL.M. (Human Rights and Democratization in Africa) from the University of Pretoria where he graduated with distinction at the top of his class in the 2018 academic year. He is also enrolled as an advocate of the High Court of Uganda. Nimrod has previously held teaching positions at two universities in Uganda with a focus on Jurisprudence, Business Associations, Introducing Law, Constitutional Law, Health and the Law, and has also worked as a corporate legal practitioner. His doctoral research considers the adequacy of the African Union's response to climate change through a children's rights-based framework.
